PAISLEE

Paislee is a 6 year old Maltese who was returned to DHR since her adopter was not happy that she still needed more leash work. Paislee was a mill dog and we made it known that she needed further leash confidence and training. Luckily, no damage done and she is safely back with her foster. She is one sweet girl who gets along fine with other dogs and really would love to finally land in the right home!

Foster mom says she will do best in a quiet environment where she can have one on one attention or, in a home with a senior dog who she can just relax with. She is a tiny girl under 10 pounds and, she goes outside to potty but has had occasional accidents. She is crate trained and has had no accidents in her crate. She is learning that maybe humans aren’t so bad and knows her name. With a few weeks of patience and an understanding of the environment she came from, we believe that Paislee will continue to become less shy and be a really workable and loving companion for someone wanting a companion for themselves and/or elderly dog. She doesn’t mind kids but we are suggesting a home with a non-hectic environment because she is on the shy side. A cat companion would be just fine too.
